Exploring the Past, Shaping the Future
FS 2023: Maritime Quebec & FS 2024: Newfoundland, Labrador & Nunatsiavut is a collaborative youth-focused and youth-led expedition, exploring the culture, language, heritage, aspirations, and seascapes of Maritime Quebec and its inhabitants through a multifaceted, immersive, and interactive expedition.
The project will explore remote seascapes and shorelines, encourage youth to engage in meaningful conversations with their fellow sailors, gain insight into the power, and the fragility of nature, meet fascinating people, make new friends, strengthen cultural ties between Canadian youth from diverse backgrounds and to celebrate the diversity that makes Canada such an amazing place to live and grow.
FS 2023/24 will bring together youth from across the country in a collaborative space, aimed at delivering positive outcomes for individual sailors, our community, and the villages, towns, and ports we visit.

Tall Ship Expeditions Canada is a youth-focused charitable organization that provides people from varying backgrounds and communities with an opportunity to explore their own capabilities and learn transferable life skills, through a hands-on outdoor adventure program, while sailing aboard Canada’s original tall ship, St. Lawrence II.
